OCHA: The occupation killed 3 Palestinians, wounded 62, and killed 172 in two weeks

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OCHA) said today, Friday, that the occupation authorities demolished or confiscated 26 Palestinian buildings in the occupied West Bank during the past two weeks, under the pretext that they lacked building permits .

In the "Protection of Civilians" report, which covers the period between March 2 and March 15, the office stated that the demolitions resulted in the displacement of 42 Palestinian citizens, including 24 children, and damaging at least 120 others .

The report stated that 3 Palestinian fishermen were killed when an explosion occurred on a Palestinian boat off the coast of Khan Yunis in Gaza .

62 Palestinians, including 9 children, were injured during this period, during clashes with Israeli forces in various parts of the West Bank, while the Israeli forces carried out 193 search and arrest operations, and arrested 172 Palestinians in various parts of the West Bank, including 15 children. God is the highest number of these operations (48), followed by the governorates of Hebron (37) and Jerusalem (35).

Israeli settlers injured 6 Palestinians, in Hebron governorate, and damaged Palestinian property, including vehicles and trees .

In the Gaza Strip, the report indicated that Israeli forces fired warning shots on at least 28 occasions, near the border fence or off the coast of Gaza under the pretext of imposing restrictions on access, which resulted in the injury of two fishermen and damaging their boats .

On 3 other occasions, Israeli forces bulldozed farmers´ lands close to the fence.
