Occupation arrests 14 Palestinians, including a woman from Jerusalem

The occupied neighborhoods of the occupied city of Jerusalem, yesterday evening until Friday morning, witnessed a wide campaign of arrests among Jerusalemites, after storming their homes .

Wadi Hilweh Information Center in occupied Jerusalem said that the occupation forces carried out, at dawn today, a large-scale arrest campaign in the city .

The center pointed out that the Israeli intelligence and police stormed Palestinian homes in all neighborhoods of the city of Jerusalem, and arrested at least 14 Palestinian citizens, including a woman and journalists, and also summoned others for investigation .

He stated that the occupation forces arrested teacher Hanadi Al-Halawani from Wadi Al-Joz, the journalist Abdel Karim Darwish from Beit Hanina, and the journalist Amjad Arafa.

He stated that the arrests included Muhammad Nader Al-Alami from Al-Sawanah, Ahmad Al-Jolani, Tamer Khalafawi, Muhammad Hijazi, Muhammad Jabari, and Muhammad Sandooqa from the Old City, Muhammad Ashour from Al-Tur and Marwan Al-Rishq from Ras Al-Amud.

And the occupation intelligence called for both: Bahjat Al-Razem, Ahmed Fakhoury from the old town, Hazem Al-Sharbati from Wadi Al-Joz and Muhammad Al-Hashlamoun from Ras Al-Amud .

Many Palestinian citizens, especially the young men, had received, yesterday evening, Thursday, anonymous text messages warning them not to carry out any protest actions during Friday prayers.

And local sources suggested that the occupation police and the Israeli intelligence service, "the Shin Bet", were the ones behind these warning messages that carried the threat formula.

The Hebrew radio had indicated that the Israeli police deployed large forces in the Old City and around the Al-Aqsa Mosque in preparation for Fajr and Friday prayers .

She added that the police handed over deportation orders to the Al-Aqsa Mosque for Hamas and Islamic activists, some of whom were arrested and interrogated during the week.

She pointed out that Palestinian activists have published in social networks invitations to hold mass prayers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to confront his Judaization .
