The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Thursday, that 162 new cases of Corona virus were recorded and 42 cases of recovery during the last 24 hours, while no deaths were recorded.
In the epidemiological report, the minister indicated that the new infections were recorded as follows: “Jenin 8, Tulkarm 5, Qalqilya 2, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 9, Nablus 4, Bethlehem 1, Hebron 1, Jericho 1, Jerusalem 32, Jerusalem suburbs 1 Gaza Strip 98".
And it indicated that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine was 98.4%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.5%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
Al-Kaila added that the new recovery cases were distributed as follows: “Jenin 5, Tulkarm 2, Hebron 4, Salfit 1, Bethlehem 7, Nablus 10, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 3, and the Gaza Strip 10.”
She pointed out that there are 12 patients in intensive care rooms, while 23 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, including two patients on ventilators.
With regard to the citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 604,460, of whom 422,040 received both doses of the vaccine.
