Israeli media on Sunday evening unveiled a secret message from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House.
According to the Hebrew channel 14, Netanyahu sent a secret message to the White House two weeks ago that the "Israel " position of UNRWA has changed and now supports the suspension of all US funding for UNRWA.
The channel quoted senior officials as saying that Netanyahu had decided to change his policy without discussing the cable and without meaningful discussion with senior members of the security establishment who were surprised by the change in the Israeli position and were unaware of it.
On Friday evening, the US administration announced the full cessation of support for the UNRWA relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees.
