Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is looking for someone close to him to be Israel´s ambassador to the United Nations instead of current ambassador Danny Danon, Channel 12 reported on Saturday.
According to the channel, Netanyahu has 3-4 options, one of them the Minister of Science Ofir Akunis.
She pointed out that Netanyahu had offered the post to the Minister of Internal Security, Gilad Arad, who asked for time to study it, but Netanyahu believes that he was late in his decision and that he must look for another person.
A political source for the Hebrew channel, Netanyahu is getting colder towards Erdogan on his appointment as ambassador after the delay of his decision.
