The United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Nikolai Miladinov said that the Israeli annexation plan is against international law and will destroy the dream of peace and the establishment of a Palestinian state.
Miladinov, during his participation in the central national festival in Jericho, which the "Fatah" movement called for, called on the international community to take action and do everything available to save the peace process through negotiations leading to the establishment of the Palestinian state.
He said: The international community worked during 25 years to establish the Palestinian state, which Yasser Arafat founded, calling for the necessity of continuing to work until achieving the just goal of establishing the Palestinian state.
Miladinov stressed the necessity of achieving the unity that the Palestinian people deserve in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem.
The United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, started his speech by inviting the participants to observe a minute of silence on the spirit of the martyr Iyad Al-Hallaq, who was recently executed by the occupation forces in Jerusalem, and said: "The martyr Al-Hallaq reminds us of the importance of achieving peace."
