Minister of Health Mai Al-Kaila announced today, Friday, 6 new infections with the Corona virus in the Al-Thawri neighborhood of Jerusalem, because of contact with a woman who was previously declared infected, while 5 cases of recovery were recorded.
In a press statement, the Minister of Health added that 4 recovery cases were recorded in the suburbs of Jerusalem, and one in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate.
She explained that the health status of all the injured in the isolation and treatment centers of the Ministry of Health is stable, and there is no case in the intensive care rooms.
And she continued: For the eighth day in a row, no cases of HIV were recorded in all Palestinian governorates except Jerusalem.
She indicated that the number of injuries rose to 554 in Palestine, while the number of active cases, i.e. still infected, reached 119, including 61 in Jerusalem, 52 in the rest of the northern governorates (West Bank), and 6 cases in the southern governorates (Gaza Strip) .
She pointed out that the number of recovery cases rose to 431 cases, or 77.7% of the total recorded injuries.
Al-Kila said: 4,881 new cases were entered into the domestic quarantine, while the number of cases currently in the quarantine was 16,544 male and female.
