The Miles of Smiles Campaign has announced the completion of preparations in Cairo to send a new batch of medical and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah Crossing.
The aid is expected to arrive next week, including 150,000 bottles of anti-coagulant heparin.
The campaigners stressed the need to continue relief work to support the people in the Gaza Strip, especially with the Ministry of Health suffers from a very large shortage of medicines and medical supplies in its warehouse, which affects the health situation in the Gaza Strip.
They called on all international parties to pressurize the Israeli occupation to force it to lift the 13-year-old blockade of Gaza, leading to a tragic and catastrophic situation, with UN warnings that the Gaza Strip will no longer be viable for months (2020).
