Melania Trump has called on US President Donald Trump to accept the election result, according to the American network, CNN.
The network quoted an unnamed source that Trump had received similar advice from his adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, according to Bloomberg News reported on Sunday.
Trump, his senior allies and his personal attorney refuse to concede the election defeat, even as Democrat Joe Biden ignores those issues and presses ahead with his plan for the presidential transition.
"At this point it would be a mistake for him to admit defeat," said Rudy Giuliani, Trump´s personal attorney.
Although he did not present any physical evidence, Giuliani said, "He will continue to file lawsuits."
