Israeli opposition leader Tzipi Livni has demanded the need to replace the Hamas regime in the Gaza Strip and disarm the sector as a common international goal rather than take defeatist steps.
Livni said Israel was conducting indirect negotiations with the Hamas movement instead of direct negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.
