Israeli army Minister Avigdor Lieberman said on Thursday that the Palestinian state has no charge, and there are more severe problems here than the slogans that are being launched on the solutions that are being talked about.

This came as he inspected the border with Syria from the Quneitra crossing point after the return of peace forces in the demilitarized zone, in response to US President Donald Trump´s remarks on the two-state solution.

"The main problem is that in Israel, 20% of the population is constantly coming out in demonstrations and raising Palestinian flags," he said. We have to worry about the Jewish state, and the rest is less interesting for us  ".

With regard to the Russian crisis, Lieberman assured continued contacts and security coordination with Russia. He pointed out that there were constantly secret contacts and that Syria bore the unfortunate incident of dropping the plane.

He noted that Israel was ready to open the Quneitra crossing point and transport the goods. He stressed that Israel does not interfere in the Syrian civil war and that it is important to ensure the security of Israeli citizens.

"Now the ball at the Syrian stadium on the opening of the crossing and their ability to do so in terms of security and administrative, we will apply the exact details of the disengagement agreement in 1974."

He expressed the hope that the life situation in Syria would return to normal. Adding, "Assad is not our friend, he is a war criminal, we are only interested in our security interests."
