Chief of Staff instructs Army readiness Check for next war

The Israeli daily Maariv reported that chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot instructed the Army observer to examine the readiness of the Israeli army for the next war  .

According to Maariv, the directive follows the Ombudsman´s report on the military´s readiness to war. He pointed out in his report that there were shortcomings in those preparations.

 

She noted that within 45 days the report would be by the Army observer at the Eisenkot table, which in turn would be submitted to the Knesset Security and foreign committee.

قالت صحيفة معاريف الاسرائيلية ان رئيس الاركان غادي ايزنكوت أوعز لمراقب الجيش بفحص جاهزية الجيش الاسرائيلي للحرب المقبلة.

وبحسب معاريف فإن هذا الإيعاز جاء بعد تقرير أمين المظالم حول أهلية استعداد الجيش للحرب(..)مشيرا في تقريره إلى وجود قصور في تلك الاستعدادات.

وأشارت إلى أنه في غضون 45 يوما سيكون التقرير من قبل مراقب الجيش على طاولة آيزنكوت الذي بدوره سيطرحه على لجنة الأمن والخارجية في الكنيست.
