Israeli army Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Thursday ordered the construction of a settlement housing building in the city of Hebron.
According to the seventh Hebrew Channel, the decision was made after Attorney General Afiheai Mandelpelat legally approved the construction of the new building above the "wholesale" market.
The channel noted that the decision was taken after being suspended for years and came after a decision to build a Jewish neighbourhood in the city.
Lieberman said he would work to promote settlement in Hebron.
