Libyan government accuses Hifter forces of targeting civilian sites and the "interior"

 Operation "Volcano of Wrath" forces accused the government of national reconciliation in Libya on Thursday of Hifter´s airstrikes against civilian sites and the interior ministry.

The "volcano of anger", in a statement published through its official page on the social networking site (Facebook), that the warplanes supporting Haftar, targeted civilian sites near the iron bridge on the airport road in Tripoli, leaving extensive damage to homes and injuries to three families, hours later From shelling civilian sites in Janzour, west of Tripoli.

Local media published pictures showing a huge smoke cloud from inside a site on the airport road, caused by a massive explosion by an air strike.

For its part, the Ministry of Interior confirmed that the perimeter of its headquarters in Tripoli was subjected to an air strike, describing the attack as "conclusive evidence of the criminalization of the responsible military command to attack the capital."

The ministry said in a statement that "the perimeter of the ministry was attacked by a brutal warplane belonging to Hifter, with the aim of preventing the ministry´s efforts in security work and maintain stability and the attackers attempt to spread chaos and terrorism."

Badroha, Hifter forces confirmed air strikes targeting various locations in the capital Tripoli, stressing that they have achieved all the objectives successfully.

Hifter´s forces have been launching an offensive since early April to take control of Tripoli, the seat of the internationally recognized government of Al Wefaq, which has announced the launch of Operation Volcano of Wrath to repel the attack.

The fighting since the outbreak killed 1093 people and wounded about 6,000 others, in addition to the displacement of about 120 thousand people from the clashes, according to the United Nations.
