Israeli sources said that the US administration looks forward to the liquidation of the International Criminal Court in The Hague if it dares to try Americans or Israelis on charges of war crimes based on the existence of a US law in the year 2016 allowing the US military to attack the International Criminal Court in case of trial and detain Americans.
"What is the fear of the United States from The Hague court?" asked the newspaper. She said she feared that she would be legally able to break into the International court if she had detained two American detainees in order to bring them to trial.
The so-called "defense of American Soldiers" Act, enacted in the year 2016, was aimed at "protecting U.S. military and administration personnel from any claim and filing indictments against them before the International Tribunal in which Washington does not participate."
President Bush signed the bill in 2002, which enables the US president to "use all appropriate means to liberate those who serve in American institutions or their allies from the International Criminal Court."
The act was called the "Hague Storming Act", which theoretically allows US troops to be used to liberate American detainees in The Hague, the Netherlands, and the law forbids the extradition of U.S. citizens to the Court and prevents its representatives from conducting investigations in U.S. territory.
