Today, Sunday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 326 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded, and 740 cases have recovered within the last 24 hours.
The minister added that 5 deaths were previously announced, the last of which were two deaths in Yatta and Halhul in Hebron.
It indicated that the new casualties were distributed as follows: Hebron governorate (176), Nablus governorate (19), Bethlehem governorate (34) Qalqiliya governorate (26), Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate (31), Jericho and Al Aghwar governorate (21), Tulkarm governorate. (4), Salfit Governorate (2), Jenin Governorate (2), Tubas Governorate (1), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (10), while no new updates regarding the epidemiological situation of Jerusalem were received during the last 24 hours.
The Minister of Health added that new recoveries were recorded in: (689) in Hebron governorate, (15) in Nablus governorate, (19) in Tulkarm governorate, (16) in Qalqilya governorate, (1) in Salfit governorate.
She explained that the recovery rate reached 64.3%, while the rate of active injuries reached 35.2%, and deaths were 0.5% of the total injuries recorded in Palestine.
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 30 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 4 patients on artificial respirators.
