Minister of Health Mai Al-Kaila announced today, Monday, that 18 deaths, 1,786 new cases of corona, and 1181 recoveries have been recorded in the West Bank and Gaza.
The minister explained that the total number of citizens who received anti-corona virus vaccinations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 69,055, including 7,638 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
The minister added that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 89.5%, while the rate of active infections reached 9.4%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The minister indicated that new injuries were recorded as follows: “Tubas 40, Tulkarm 133, Jenin 164, Qalqilya 47, Hebron 125, Nablus 238, Salfit 15, Jerusalem suburbs 16, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 138, Bethlehem 42, Jericho and Al Aghwar 13” 815 Gaza Strip.
Al-Keela added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Tubas 21, Tulkarm 132, Jenin 137, Qalqilya 86, Nablus 69, Hebron 188, Salfit 69, Jerusalem suburbs 20, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 133, Bethlehem 154, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 16, sector Gaza 156.
13 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Jenin 1, Qalqilya 4, Nablus 3, Hebron 2, the suburbs of Jerusalem 1, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1, Bethlehem 1”, and 5 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 207 patients in intensive care rooms, including 65 patients on artificial respirators, while 690 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
