The director of education in Jerusalem, Samir Jibril, confirmed Wednesday that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the orphans secondary school in the Old City.
Jibril said that 11 elements of the occupation forces stormed the school yard, amid a large number of students gathered during the process of storming, which led to a state of fear and terror in their classes.
Jibril added that targeting the schools of the Old City aims to empty the town of its students under the pretext of security and safety, calling on all international bodies to protect education in Jerusalem, and not to keep education from the hands of Jerusalem students, according to the official agency.
