Israeli police recommend trial of Netanyahu close to submarine case

The Israeli police announced on Thursday that it had completed investigations into the 3,000 naval submarine file.

At the end of the investigation on the receipt of bribes and mediation, the court recommended the trial of David Chamron, former lawyer and special assistant to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a family and politician close to him.

It also recommended the trial of a number of senior Israeli officials, including Eliezer Modi Sandberg, a former minister close to Netanyahu, along with General Eliezer Marum, former commander of the Israeli naval forces.

The 10th Hebrew Channel noted that the recommendation included a large number of senior officials close to Netanyahu and former politicians in relationship with him.
