The Israeli occupation authorities on Tuesday handed over notices of suspension of construction in three houses in the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem, and gave them until the 11th of next month to file an objection.
According to the deputy mayor of Nahhalin Hani Funan, the Israeli occupation forces handed over three citizens of the art family notices to stop the construction in their homes, in the area of Bakoush south of the town, belonging to: Hamdi Mahmoud Arts a two-storey residential building, two houses under construction for Citizens Ghassan Hassan, and Yazid Mohamed Funoon.
The Israeli occupation forces are exerting a clear escalation against the villagers and their property, including the looting of land and notices of suspension of construction, except for repeated incursions, homes and arrests of citizens, he said.
For some time, those forces had sought to place land in the town for settlement purposes.
