According to data published by the Center for Studies, the Israeli occupation forces carried out 212 arrests in January, including 24 children and 11 women.
In a study on Saturday, the Center said that 74 arrests were made in Jerusalem, 38 in Hebron, 27 in Jenin governorate, 26 Bethlehem, 20 Ramallah and Al-Bireh.
The study showed that Nablus governorate witnessed 9 arrests, 7 baltkaram, 5 tubas and 3 from Qalqilya, in addition to one arrest in Salfit.
The Gaza Strip witnessed the arrest of a merchant while passing through the Beit Hanoun-Erez checkpoint and the Occupation Army arrested a Lebanese for allegedly infiltrating across the northern border of Palestine.
According to the Jerusalem Center, 24 children were arrested in January, according to the Jerusalem Center monitoring, of the reported arrests of 24 children from various governorates of the occupied West Bank.
The Hebron governorate topped the list of governorates with the largest number of children arrested, with 8 children, 6 in Jerusalem, 6 children in Bethlehem, and 4 children in Ramallah.
According to the statistics, during the past month, the Occupying Army arrested 11 women, all from occupied Jerusalem, in a clear picture of the occupation targeting Jerusalemites of all ages and races.
