Israeli occupation artillery on Wednesday afternoon shelled three Palestinian resistance observatories in the northern Gaza Strip, but no casualties were reported.
Our correspondent in Gaza said that the israeli artillery stationed at the "Zekim" military site fired several shells this afternoon towards three observatories of the Palestinian resistance´s Hama al-Thagores, northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya, north of the Gaza Strip.
He added that there were no casualties, but that the shells hit the observatories directly, causing significant damage.
An Israeli tank shelled two Hamas military positions in the northern Gaza Strip, an Israeli army spokesman said.
He said the shelling was in response to the firing of three rocket-propelled grenades from the Gaza Strip towards the Gaza Gaza Strip.
The Israeli spokesman did not say whether the missiles landed on the settlements, or were intercepted by the missile response system known as the Iron Dome.
According to Hebrew media, the sirens were activated in Israeli settlements located in the "Gaza cover" due to rocket fire from the Gaza Strip.
