12 citizens were injured, Friday evening, as a result of the Israeli occupation forces’ suppression of marches on the Gaza Strip border.

According to the Ministry of Health, 12 citizens were injured, and their injuries were described as minor to moderate, and they were taken for treatment in several hospitals.

Confrontations broke out in several border areas, including Gaza, Jabalia, and Khan Yunis.

Among those injured was photojournalist Ashraf Abu Amra, who was injured by a gas bomb.

The occupation soldiers, stationed inside their positions and military vehicles, used live bullets, rubber-coated metal bullets, and gas bombs towards the demonstrators.

The sound of a large explosion was heard near a military point belonging to the field control forces of the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement.

An Israeli army spokesman said that the bombing was carried out from a drone towards the point in response to what he described as “riots” on the Gaza Strip borders.
