Palestinian mothers have not been spared the oppression of the occupation, as some of them suffer harsh conditions inside the prisons of the occupation and can only see their children for a very few minutes, and others have passed years without seeing their children, and the prison administration practices various types of physical and psychological torture against them. .
Today, Tuesday, the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority clarified that the captive Anhar Al-Deek, from the village of (Kafr Nima) in Ramallah, suffers from bipolar depression.
The authority demanded that the rooster be released because it is pregnant and has entered its ninth month, and that it needs special medical attention and care.
The authority, in cooperation with the Red Cross, is trying to provide the necessary guidance for the rivers of Al-Deek.
Al-Deek said during her meeting with the commission’s lawyer, “The prison is not prepared for childbirth and child rearing. The conditions of the prison are very bad and the child will develop epilepsy, as a result of counting, inspections and knocking on windows, except for emergencies. We adults are afraid, so how can a child be born and raised inside the prison?” I also suffer from severe fatigue and the skin is not suitable for sleep, especially since I am pregnant, and I call on President Abu Mazen and all leaders, institutions and people of living conscience to work for my release so that I can give birth with dignity.”
The Commission’s lawyer also visited Abeer Al-Rajabi (27 years), from Hebron, a mother of four who is sentenced to six months in prison and suffers from kidney stones, and Nisreen Hassan (46 years), from the Gaza Strip, a mother of seven and sentenced to 6 years in prison, suffers from High blood pressure and severe toothache.
The authority demanded the prison administration to immediately release the female prisoner Al-Deek and all the female prisoners, holding the occupation government fully responsible for the lives and fate of the female prisoners, especially the mothers.
