Wadah Bakhit, head of the Pioneers Society for Community Development, said that this emergency aid comes in response to the call by the Ministry of Health after the fuel shortage crisis has reached a serious stage in which hundreds of patients may be denied access to treatment and proper health care.

Bakhit pointed out that the Association has continued with the various bodies to culminate in the arrival of this emergency grant, which meets the need of eight hospitals of fuel for about two weeks. The hospitals benefiting from the grant are the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, the European Gaza Hospital, the Martyr Mohammed Al-Durra Children´s Hospital, Beit Hanoun Hospital Al Harazeen Hospital for Childbirth and Al-Shaheed Kamal Adwan Hospital.
