Today, Saturday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced that 5 deaths and 433 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded, and 224 infected people have recovered during the past 24 hours, after conducting 3697 examinations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Al-Kaila said that the deaths were recorded of citizens of Qalqilya Governorate (44, 67 and 70 years), and citizens of Hebron Governorate (67 and 75 years).
She added that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 67.9%, while the rate of active infections reached 31.5%, and the death rate was 0.6% of all infections.
It indicated that the new injuries were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (34), Nablus Governorate (75), Bethlehem Governorate (51), Qalqilya Governorate (25), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (46), Jenin (6), Jericho and Al-Aghwar ( 18), Tubas (13), Tulkarm (12), the Gaza Strip (110), the suburbs of Jerusalem (43), while no information was received about injuries in Jerusalem during the past 24 hours.
The Minister of Health added that new cases of recovery were recorded in: Hebron Governorate (141), Salfit Governorate (12), Jenin Governorate (5), Nablus Governorate (52), Tubas Governorate (5), Tulkarm Governorate (9).
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 26 patients in intensive care rooms, including 5 patients on artificial respirators.
