According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, to date, Sunday, 2,361 suspected samples of the emerging "Corona" virus (Covid 19) from the northern and southern governorates of the Central Public Health Laboratory have been tested. All were passive "uninfected" with the exception of 38 in Bethlehem and Tulkarm.
Health said in its daily report on the virus, that the number of cases of corona has reached 38 cases so far in Palestine. The Ministry indicated that the number of cases in the private quarantine at the Academy in Jericho was two, in addition to one case in the quarantine at the Rafah crossing . She drew attention to the number of cases in the domestic quarantine reached 6500 cases, including 2676 in the southern governorates (Gaza Strip) . She stressed that work is continuing to equip a sorting and quarantine center and a Corona hospital in all governorates of the country, and continuing health education for citizens on the media and social communication about the disease, its symptoms and ways to prevent it. She noted that instructions No. 21, 22, and 23 have been issued regarding the criteria for taking samples related to the virus, and regarding the data required to be collected from the callers on the hotline related to the virus, and the criteria for removing the injured person from health isolation or hospital . She pointed out that the number of confirmed cases of "Covid 19" globally reached 142539, of which 61518 were registered outside China in 135 countries. The number of deaths reached 5,393 in China and 2,199 outside, according to the report issued by the World Health Organization until yesterday .
