The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced today, Sunday, that two deaths and 536 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded, and 156 infected people have recovered in the last 24 hours, after conducting 4,135 examinations in the West Bank and Gaza.
The ministry said that the deaths were recorded for a 68-year-old citizen from Beit Jala, and an 88-year-old citizen from Halhul, which raises the death rate by 0.6%, the recovery rate of 67%, while the percentage of active injuries reached 32.4% of all injuries in Palestine.
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 29 patients in intensive care rooms, including 7 patients on artificial respirators.
The health statement indicated that the new injuries were distributed in: Hebron Governorate (255), Nablus Governorate (17), Bethlehem Governorate (36), Qalqilya Governorate (34), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (65), Jenin (8), Jericho and Al-Aghwar. (35), Salfit Governorate (1), Tulkarm Governorate (7), Tubas (2), Gaza Strip (36), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (40), while no updated information was available on the city of Jerusalem.
New recoveries were recorded in: Tulkarm Governorate (17), Jericho Governorate and Al Aghwar Governorate (10), Hebron Governorate (128), and Salfit Governorate (1).
