Today, Sunday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced that two deaths and 381 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded, and 450 infected people have recovered during the last 24 hours.
Al-Kaila added that the two deaths were recorded for two patients (a 3-year-old child from Qalqilya governorate and an 81-year-old citizen from Al-Aroub in Hebron governorate).
It indicated that the new casualties were distributed as follows: Hebron Governorate (188), Nablus Governorate (25), Bethlehem Governorate (23) Qalqilya Governorate (31), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (49), Jericho and Al Aghwar Governorate (14), Tulkarm Governorate. (28), Salfit Governorate (2), the suburbs of Jerusalem (21).
The Minister of Health added that new cases of recovery were recorded in: Hebron Governorate (261), Jericho and Al Aghwar Governorate (97), Nablus Governorate (29), Tulkarm Governorate (6), Salfit Governorate (2), Jenin Governorate (1), Qalqilya Governorate ( 5), Bethlehem Governorate (49).
The Minister of Health stated that the recovery rate reached 60.9%, while the rate of active injuries reached 38.5%, and deaths were 0.6% of the total injuries recorded in Palestine.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 26 patients in intensive care rooms, including 5 on artificial respirators.
