Today, Friday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 12 deaths, 559 new cases of Coronavirus and 2,148 recovered cases had been recorded during the last 24 hours.
In the epidemiological report on the "Corona" virus in Palestine, Al-Kailah stated that 5 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: Nablus 2, Tubas 1, Hebron 2, and 7 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
It indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: Nablus 52, Jenin 35, Qalqilya 6, Tulkarm 12, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 22, Tubas 4, Hebron 22, Bethlehem 2, Gaza Strip 404.
She added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Nablus 270, Jenin 47, Qalqilya 15, Tulkarm 29, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 39, Tubas 18, Hebron 20, Bethlehem 12, Salfit 20, the suburbs of Jerusalem 2, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 1, Gaza Strip 1511 164 Jerusalem.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 102 patients in intensive care rooms, including 29 patients on artificial respirators, while 237 patients are treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, noting that the rate of recovery from the virus in Palestine reached 94.6%, while The rate of active injuries was 4.3%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all injuries.
With regard to the citizens who received the anti-corona virus vaccinations, the Minister of Health stated that their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 266,380, including 193,720 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
