Germans support reducing Christmas lights to protect the climate

 A poll revealed that most citizens in Germany are ready to limit the use of Christmas lights to protect the climate.

And 57 percent of those surveyed by the "YouGov" institute to measure opinion indicators commissioned by the German news agency (dpa), they want to limit Christmas decorations, which are composed of chains and light stars, or to dispense completely in The future for this.

According to the survey, 11 percent of respondents indicated that they intend to dispense completely with Christmas lights this year in order to protect the climate, and 10 percent of them expressed their willingness to do without them completely in the future.

And 12 percent of respondents said they could envisage limiting use this year, while 23 percent said it could be a possibility for them in the future.

On the other hand, 35 percent of those surveyed said they could not imagine completely dispelling Christmas lighting in order to protect the climate.

It is worth noting that this poll included 2053 people and was conducted online between the 3rd and the 5th of December.
