With the support and funding of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and with the implementation of the Japan Jika Alumni Association in Palestine, the Board of Directors of the Japan Jika Society in Palestine, represented by members Dr.
Mohammed Zaghbar, Engineer Nahed Aziza, Engineer Sami Drabia and Engineer Anwar Al-Jundi, and with the participation of the Director of the JICA Office in Gaza, Brother Engineer Saher Younis, and brother Mohammed Nassar, representatives of the Japan Cooperation Agency GECA, provided the Ministry of Health in Gaza with 50,000 filters for a basic screening of the Coronavirus (Coved 19).
"We were honored today to support and strengthen the capabilities of the Ministry of Health by donating the association´s annual budget by purchasing and supplying corona filters, which are the basis for the screening and injection process," said Jika.
She added: "As everyone knows that the capabilities of the Palestinian Ministry of Health are modest in the face of this transcontinental epidemic, the Board of Directors has taken the initiative to reach out to GECA in this regard to fill the shortage of these necessary filters in the screening process, and the approval was immediately approved by JICA and the purchase and supply of drug stores directly, I thank the people and the Japanese government and the resident representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency in Palestine Mr. Abe."
