Gazans are being subjected to genocide, killing and epidemics.

Ismail Al-Thawabtah, Director General of the Government Media Office, said: "The massacres have not stopped since this morning, and there are more than a quarter of a million Palestinians displaced under the blows of the fire belts."

Al-Thawabtah added in a press statement, "The occupation is launching the largest evacuation campaign targeting the eastern and western areas of the central and southern Gaza Strip, including evacuations that included the area that was classified as safe in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis."

He stressed that the percentage of the area that the occupation claims is safe no longer exceeds 10 km in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, and it lacks all service components, and the displaced people live in extremely tragic conditions.

Al-Thawabat explained that these crimes express an Israeli mentality that insists on continuing the war of extermination.

In a related context, he stressed that the discovery and recording of the first case of polio infection in a child in the southern Gaza Strip rings the alarm bell that our people are being subjected to a war of extermination with other tools, in light of the occupation's desire and insistence on obstructing and slowing down the introduction of vaccines.

He stated that the "Israeli" behavior expresses a desire to destroy Gaza and exhaust it with epidemics; to achieve its dream of making the area uninhabitable, according to what it aspires to.

Al-Thawabat stressed the call on the United Nations to reach a ceasefire for seven days; to enable citizens to obtain the necessary vaccinations.
