Today, Friday, the Israeli occupation forces flooded hundreds of dunams of agricultural land by opening rainwater ferries for the second day in a row in eastern Gaza.
The official news agency reported, citing farmers, that the occupation forces opened rainwater ferries east of Gaza City, which led to the flooding of hundreds of agricultural dunums east of the Zaytoun and Shujaeya neighborhoods in the east of the city, in addition to the flooding of dozens of agricultural dunums east of Beit Hanoun town in the northern Gaza Strip.
Farmers suffered heavy material losses after the ferryboat flooded their agricultural lands.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forces deliberately open the water ferryboats every period during the winter season to flood the citizens´ agricultural lands and properties.
