Palestinian national and Islamic forces in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday staged a protest in rejection of the US administration´s decision to legalize settlements in the West Bank.
During the vigil in front of UNESCO headquarters, the forces called on the international community to take responsibility for the violations committed by the Us administration and Israel against the Palestinians.
Last week, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo declared that his country "no longer considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank contrary to international law," while his remarks drew international and Arab condemnations.
Earlier, Palestinians in various cities and countries of the occupied West Bank held rallies denouncing the American decision.
