The Israeli authorities decided this morning Thursday to reduce the fishing area off the coast of the Gaza Strip, until further notice.
According to the Gaza Fishermen´s Syndicate, the occupation reported through the Palestinian association to reduce the fishing area in the area from the Gaza port to the north of the city on the sea border with the Israeli Zikim region, to six miles.
The fishing area, from the Gaza port to the southern border with Egypt, has been reduced to 10 miles.
The occupation claimed that this step was taken in response to the firing of a missile at dawn today from Gaza towards Sderot.
The occupying forces launched raids on Gaza targets, which resulted in material damage.
