Iyad Abu Karsh, Director of the Critical Medicine Department at the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, warned today, Thursday, that the increase in care beds may be insufficient in the event of the continuous and large increase in the number of Coronavirus infections, and the subsequent increase In serious injuries.
Abu Karsh indicated in a press statement that the Ministry is making efforts to increase the number of intensive care beds to 180 beds in various hospitals in the Gaza Strip in light of the increasing number of injuries.
He called on citizens to fully adhere to preventive and safety measures to avoid the worst from happening.
