Shehda Barhoum, director of the laboratories and blood banks unit at the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said today, Monday, that the health situation needs more caution after we entered the third stage of the Corona epidemic.
Barhoum explained in an interview with the local Voice of Jerusalem radio in Gaza, that it is currently not possible to know the size of the injuries that will be during this stage in light of the failure to adhere to the preventive measures announced by the Ministry of Health.
He pointed out that the ministry has been monitoring the increase in the number of positive cases since a week, noting that an increase in infections has been observed in specific areas.
He pointed out that examination materials are currently available in 56 centers in cooperation with international organizations, noting that there is a shortage of gases to examine Covid patients, and 12 examination devices have been purchased and are currently in the West Bank, but they have not yet reached the Gaza Strip due to the procrastination of the occupation.
