The spokesman for the Ministry of National Economy in the Gaza Strip, Abdel-Fattah Abu Musa, said today, Wednesday, that the occupation requires special coordination to bring some materials into the Strip, which represents an extension of the siege imposed for 15 years.
In an interview with the local Al-Aqsa radio station in Gaza, Abu Musa indicated that the occupation has imposed a suffocating siege on the Gaza Strip for 15 years, and has been blackmailing it by closing the Kerem Shalom crossing after the last “Sword of Jerusalem” battle.
He called human rights organizations and NGOs to raise their voice in the face of the occupation, stressing the need to introduce the humanitarian needs of the people of Gaza.
Abu Musa considered that what the occupation is doing is contrary to all international laws.
He pointed out that the tightening of the blockade affected prices, noting that the Ministry of Economy monitors the rise in prices and exercises its supervisory role in curbing any exploitation, and there are seizure records issued against a number of traders who raised the prices of some materials.
