Gaza Economy: The occupation continues to prevent the entry of raw materials

Rami Abu Al-Rish, Director General of the Crossings at the Ministry of Economy in the Gaza Strip, said today, Wednesday, that the occupation is still partially opening the “Kerem Abu Salem” crossing, and prevents the entry of construction materials and raw materials under the pretext of dual use.

In an interview with the local Al-Quds Radio in Gaza, Abu Al-Rish indicated that the occupation allowed some paper, wood, metal and fabric products to be brought in this morning, which were allowed before the recent aggression on Gaza.

He pointed out that the occupation is still preventing the entry of some raw materials for detergents and some chemicals used in agriculture.

He said, "There are continuous calls to open the "Karm Abu Salem" crossing continuously, as it was before the last aggression."
