The General Administration of Civil Status in the Ministry of the Interior - the civil section in the Gaza Strip, recorded 3 thousand and 483 new births, during the month of last November, in addition to recording 226 deaths.
Statistics issued by the administration showed that the number of male births in the sector is estimated at 1818 births, at an estimated rate of 52.1%, while the estimated percentage of female births is 47.8% of 1665 births.
The statistics showed that the civil status offices of the Gaza Interior Directorate recorded 1268 newborns last month, and the Khan Yunis interior offices registered 705 births, while the northern interior offices registered 578, Al-Wusta 501, and Rafah 431.
In detailing the registration of deaths, the statistic indicated that civil status offices in the governorates of the Gaza Strip recorded 226 cases.
The statistic revealed that male deaths are estimated at 120 cases, an estimated 53%, compared to 106 female cases, an estimated 46.9%.
