Gaza: 124 samples were examined without new injuries

Ashraf Al-Qudra, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, said today, Tuesday, that the central laboratory conducted 124 laboratory test samples from yesterday to noon and all of them were negative, without recording any new infections.

Al-Qudra explained during the daily press briefing that the Ministry of Health is following up on 1931 health facilities hosted in 23 health quarantine centers in the sector, and that all of them are in a comfortable state.

And that the ministry ended the quarantine period for 58 hosts in the quarantine centers according to the approved health protocol and all of them are in good health.

He pointed out that the medical staff at the isolation hospital is following up with 7 cases infected with the Corona virus, which are still under treatment, and their condition is reassuring, and the case is still recovering inside the quarantine center at the Rafah crossing.

Al-Qudra mentioned that the Ministry of Health is following up the nine recovered cases at home after leaving the Quarantine Center at the Rafah Crossing to check on their safety and work in a safe way.

For his part, Salameh Maarouf, head of the government media office in Gaza, said that government agencies continued to provide all sectors affiliated with a series of precautionary measures required of them to adhere to in terms of providing health safety measures and preventive measures for workers in these institutions and those who go to it and the work environment within them, and circulated With written decisions and instructions and pledges signed by all these sectors, including economic, commercial and media institutions, and all sectors of work supervised by different ministries.

He denied what had been circulated regarding the mosques, noting that the situation is the same, and the fatwa issued by the Scientific Committee remains, as is the legal position in the case of continuous evaluation based on the medical recommendation that has not changed.

In turn, Iyad Al-Bazm, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior in Gaza, said that since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, the police services have intensified their efforts more to cope with all the atmospheres and customs related to the holy month, and follow up on all gathering places, including organizing markets to ensure crowding is prevented.

Al-Bazm asserted that all decisions related to preventing gatherings are still valid, and no change has been made to them, and the competent authorities are constantly implementing this.

He pointed out that during the past days, the competent authorities in the Ministry of Interior visited all private establishments that provide service to citizens, and circulated on them with mandatory safety and preventive measures during service provision, including malls, commercial centers, markets, bakeries, banks and restaurants.

He pointed out that written pledges had been signed by the owners of these private establishments to abide by these procedures, and the ministry is following up on that, as measures will be taken against everyone who violates this, even if the matter comes to close the violating establishments.

Al-Bazm pointed out that today a meeting was held with the owners of malls and big commercial centers in the Gaza Strip, and they were assured of implementing all preventive measures and under pain of legal responsibility.

The spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior in Gaza called on the citizens to continue to deal seriously with this situation, and to take all safety and prevention measures, as assessments still indicate the continuation of the danger stage.
