The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, this morning, Tuesday, 118 new cases of Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
In its daily report, the Ministry stated that the central laboratory conducted tests for 1,464 samples that were withdrawn during the same period.
The total number of injuries since last March reached 1269, of whom 1171 were active cases (1141 from the inside and 30 from the returnees), 89 recovered, and 9 deaths (8 from inside Gaza and a ninth case from returnees).
The ministry said that the emergency operations room at the Ministry of Health is looking for appropriate measures according to the epidemiological situation for each region.
She added, "We urgently need everyone to come together in order to break the episodes of outbreaks," stressing that everyone should maintain the wearing of the muzzle, wash hands, and physical distancing when leaving the house.
And she stressed the tightening of preventive measures for the elderly, people with chronic diseases, children and immunocompromised, and not to leave homes unless necessary.
