Blue-White party leader Benny Gantz said on Sunday that Benjamin Netanyahu, leader of the Likud party, will not be able to form a government after tomorrow´s upcoming elections.
Gantz, in remarks reported by the Arabic-speaking Israeli Ma’en channel, confirmed that he would continue to lead his party even if there was a fourth round of elections.
He reiterated that his party would not cooperate with the joint list in any government coalition, but that it would deal with "Arab civil society inside Israel."
For his part, Ram bin Barak, a leader of the Gantz Party, said that the party distinguishes between Arab society and the joint list.
"We can form a government without the list," he added.
Ben Barak described the non-inclusion of any Arab actor in his party´s candidate list as a fatal mistake, pledging to correct it later.
For his part, Amir Peretz, leader of the leftist bloc that includes the parties (Labor - Bridge - Meretz), said that Gantz must seriously consider the possibility of forming a minority government with external support from the "Israel Our Home" and "Joint List" parties.
"There is a pledge on the part of all parties to avoid a fourth round of elections, and therefore every effort must be made to form a minority government," he added.
