France has expressed its deep concern over the multiple confrontations that have erupted in different areas of the West Bank, stressing the need to stop the rampant acts of violence against Palestinians in the West Bank, and for the competent authorities to hold those responsible for such acts accountable.
In a statement issued by the Consulate General in Jerusalem, today, Sunday, France called on all actors to refrain from any provocative action or any unilateral action.
It emphasized its keenness to comply with international humanitarian law in the territories occupied by Israel and the illegal nature of settlements.
