French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, said that annexing Israel to any lands in the occupied West Bank would be a violation of international law and would have consequences.
Le Drian added, in a parliamentary session today, Wednesday, that "annexing Palestinian lands, whatever their size, would cast doubt on the frameworks for resolving the conflict."
He continued: "The annexation decision cannot pass without consequences, and we are studying various options at the national level, as well as in coordination with our main European partners."
