France expresses "displeasure" at the fact that Trump has allowed sanctions against officials of the International Criminal Court

France expressed "dissatisfaction" on Friday after the US President authorized the imposition of sanctions on officials of the International Criminal Court.

"This decision represents a serious attack on the court (...), and beyond that, it challenges the multiplicity of the parties and the independence of the judiciary," French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said in a statement.
