France called for "respecting the historical situation quo in the holy places in Jerusalem," after the Israeli occupation forces stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and attacked worshipers.
The French Foreign Ministry said in a statement issued today, Thursday, that "France expresses its concern about the acts of violence that took place in the past two nights in the Holy Mosque and inside the Al-Qibli Mosque."
She added: "France calls for respect for the historical status quo in the holy places in Jerusalem and to refrain from taking any action that could exacerbate the violence."
