A fourth Israeli, among those on board the "Diamond Princess" cruise ship, was infected with dawn on Thursday at dawn.
According to the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper website, medical examinations of Israeli passengers showed that a fourth person was injured. Noting that he will receive treatment in a hospital in Japan where the ship is stationed, and that he will not return with the rest of the Israelis to Tel Aviv as planned today.
The Japanese Ministry of Health confirmed that there are about 500 cases of coronavirus on board the ship, which carries 3,700 people, including the crew of different nationalities.
The ship has been under quarantine off the coast of Japan since the third of this month, as patients are transferred to hospitals in Japan.
A number of countries, including Israel, the United States and Canada, have started working to evacuate their nationals from the ship.
