For the first time since 2007... the occupation allows the entry of "fiberglass" for the boat industry in Gaza

The Office of the United Nations Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wencesland, announced on Sunday the entry of fiberglass for the manufacture and repair of fishing boats, for the benefit of the Gaza Strip , for the first time since 2007.

The Israeli occupation authorities considered this substance to be of dual use, used for military actions by the resistance, and banned it since the siege was imposed on Gaza.

The Office of the United Nations Coordinator considered that this step is important and comes under the facilities of the United Nations.

He said: The United Nations will continue its efforts to improve the lives of Palestinians.
